St. Mark provides Christian education for the spiritual growth of all ages. We strive to help people understand what it means to be a Christian and provide a biblical foundation for further learning and growth in God’s Word. Spiritual growth is life-long at each and every stage of life; we need to continue learning the Word of God. The purpose is to strengthen children and adults in their faith that they may grow in knowledge of their Savior, in love for Him, and in service to Him.
Our Board of Education places a high value on Christian education and encourages all parents to take advantage of the opportunities we have to provide your children with a parochial school experience. St. Mark is affiliated with the Missouri Synod of Lutheran Churches. Financial assistance is available for students attending an LCMS school in the surrounding area. We are affiliated with St. Peter Lutheran School in Hemlock, Bethlehem, Holy Cross and Peace Lutheran schools in Saginaw, as well as being a member of the Valley Lutheran High School Association. Children of St. Mark are enrolled in many of these schools and at our own Preschool.
As we all learn and grow together we can develop an understanding of what it means to be a member of God’s family. Christian education can reinforce positive values and attitudes. It can help us to develop skills to function as Christians at home, work play and church.
May God bless you and your families and please feel free to join us.
